Job Description
Parkwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (Special Operations) to provide full-time, 72-hour shifts in the Knoxville area. The role involves providing professional nursing care and coordinating care plans with other healthcare professionals in a high-activity unit. Candidates should have a strong background in Special Operations, including experience in oncology, orthopedic, and other acute settings.
Requirements
- Complete nursing history and initiate patient education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Implement plan of care appropriate to diagnosis.
- Evaluate care outcomes.
- Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs and sitters.
- Complete required education assignments annually.
- Maintain Tennessee State RN license
- CPR required
