Job Description
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the development of the multiplayer framework for an unannounced project at a premier game developer in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Network or Gameplay Engineer on several shipped games and advanced UE5 proficiency.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Network or Gameplay Engineer on several shipped games
- Advanced UE5 proficiency including GAS and Unreal’s Gameplay Framework
- Expert-level coding skills in C++
- Advanced knowledge of Unreal replication models, relevancy, and Replication Graph
- Deep understanding of networked movement, authority flow, and prediction logic
- Hands-on experience with network profiling and analysis tools
- Familiarity with first-party platform requirements and backend services
- High level of organization and a team-first communication style
