Job Description
Vertis Therapy is seeking a Part-time or consistent PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide patient-centered care in the Ft Wayne, IN area. The position involves evaluating and treating patients with a focus on communication, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive skills, with a supportive interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year experience in geriatric rehabilitation
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology granted by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
