Requirements
- General aptitude and willingness to learn the following:
- Work in acoustic team to develop UC and other audio products, such as speakers and microphone arrays.
- Perform acoustic simulations using FEA and other tools.
- Build/Simplify 3-D CAD models of product assemblies for importing them in FEA simulation software.
- Verify acoustic design by conducting tests at a component as well as system level, produce reports and provide recommendations for future steps
- Optimize acoustic performance through iterative design simulations
- Assist in research and development of innovative audio solutions
- Understand limitations imposed by industrial design, safety, reliability, EMI and thermal requirements in developing acoustic solutions
- Present acoustic simulations and test results to engineering teams and management.
- Collaborate with design engineers to create prototypes to validate acoustic concepts.
- Maintain detailed project documentation for simulations, tests, and design iterations to ensure traceability.
