Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Engineer who not only writes code, but also feels responsible for the quality and architecture of the built solutions. This role requires expertise in designing systems, experience working with production systems, and a deep understanding of modern backend architectures.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a backend engineer
- Expert knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: Python, Node.js, Java, Go
- Experience in creating architecture and advanced knowledge of performance, scalability, and system monitoring
- Solid experience and understanding of microservice architecture and designing distributed systems
- Solid experience in working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Practical knowledge of cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience in working with systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS (message queues)
- Expertise in writing unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests
