Job Description
We are seeking an Android developer to create and maintain applications for a variety of Android devices. The role involves developing, integrating, and optimizing applications, working with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with mobile technology trends. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and creating quality products is crucial.
Requirements
- Writing clean and efficient code for Android applications
- Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
- Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
- Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends
- Knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store
- Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
- Familiarity with firebase integrations
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration (Bitrise, Fastlane, etc)
- Familiarity with various testing tools
- Problem solver with good analytical skills
