Investment Advisor - Latin America

CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Investment Advisor to join the team in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in finance or consulting, experience working in developing countries, and fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Requirements

• 5+ years in top tier banking, consulting, private equity, or similar
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or another advanced degree (including CFA) required
• Experience working in developing countries
• Spanish, Portuguese and English business fluency
• Demonstrated leadership skills; preferably in fast-moving and complex environments
• Excellent analytical ability and discipline
• Excellent quantitative skills
• Knowledge of corporate finance and familiarity with company evaluation and valuation techniques
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues in stressful environments
• Excellent presentation skills
• Comfort with ambiguity; ability to operate effectively in a changing context
• Willingness to work and live in a sometimes challenging environment
• Knowledge of the Latin American investment landscape (or previous work experience in it)
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders (including private equity firms, Development Finance Institutions, and development agencies) to support investments in high impact sectors
