Requirements

• Plans and implements engaging program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate and consistent with YMCA values.
• Nurtures children through purposeful programming dedicated to providing opportunities for achievement and belonging, including homework assistance.
• Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards.
• Maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents.
• Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
• Maintains required program records including attendance and disciplinary actions.
• Attends and participates in program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.
