Job Description
The Y is seeking a Kids Zone Guide I to provide nurturing care and create a fun, safe environment for children at the Hammond Family YMCA. The role involves supervising and participating in activities with children, making ongoing observations and evaluations, and maintaining positive relationships with parents.
Requirements
- Minimum age 15 required
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends
- CPR/AED & First Aid, New Employee Orientation, and online trainings certifications required within 30 days of hire
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups of people
- Must have a passion for working with young children
