Director, Business & Legal Affairs, Content Licensing-In

Crunchyroll is looking for a Director, Business & Legal Affairs, Content Licensing-In to join their team. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and managing rights-in content licensing agreements, advising on IP issues, and collaborating with business leaders to bring anime to fans worldwide.

Requirements

• 10+ years in rights-in content licensing, media/entertainment law, and IP transactions
• JD and active bar membership (CA or NY, or eligible in CA)
• Experience in-house or at a top-tier law firm supporting major media, streaming, or entertainment companies
• Deep experience negotiating complex content acquisition/licensing-in agreements
• Strong IP and chain of title expertise
• Knowledge of TV, film, streaming, and digital media industries
• Excellent drafting, deal management, and communication skills
