Financial Crimes Analyst- EU, Malta

Crypto.com is seeking a Financial Crimes Analyst to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in Malta. The role involves assessing and evaluating suspicious transactions, conducting investigations, and assisting with drafting internal procedures. The position will require strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and experience with financial crime.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in an AML/CFT role within a financial institution regulated in Malta.
• Understanding of AML/CFT regulations within the fintech industry.
• Hands-on experience in conducting financial crime investigations.
• Ability to perform independently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in the analysis of numeric data using Excel or similar tools.
• Knowledge of blockchain analytics tools (preferred)
• Knowledge of digital assets (preferred)
