Job Description
This role is for a Senior DataOps Engineer focused on building and maintaining scalable applications, from frontend to backend infrastructure. The engineer will manage the daily operations of big data platforms, operate Linux systems, build monitoring systems, and contribute to platform improvements. They will collaborate with clients and drive innovation in data solutions.
Requirements
- Familiarity with CDH/CDP/HDP or similar Hadoop distributions
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python or equivalent)
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of big data components and performance tuning
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
