Job Description
Crypto.com is seeking a Senior Python Data Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and improve software. This role involves data transformation for Finance teams, building scalable applications, and delivering data products to empower users with self-serve capabilities. The ideal candidate will be active in the design and implementation of components for applications surrounding the company's core business, including frontend UI and backend infrastructure.
Requirements
- Python skills (scripting)
- SQL techniques (querying, transformation, performance optimisation)
- Apache Airflow experience (DAGs)
- GitHub experience (version control, branching)
- Collaboration skills
- Communication skills
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/cloud platforms and unit testing
- Experience with Elixir, Cloudera Data Warehouse, AWS Athena/Tableau (Bonus)
