Laboratory Technician - Electrical Appliances and Energy Efficiency Verification (EEV)

We're looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team at CSA Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting experimental programs, testing products to standards, and interpreting results. You will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work area, and performing mathematical calculations to summarize test results.

Requirements

• Conducts a wide range of test procedures on equipment to the applicable standards and interprets the results of the test.
• Determines and reviews which tests are required, the order in which to perform tests, and the number of samples required.
• Performs tests and calculations, compiles data and summarizes test results into test reports and checklists.
• Maintains good housekeeping of tools, equipment and work area following tests and carries out assigned laboratory clean-up duties.
• Records technical data and draft reports.
• Acts as a liaison with other departments as required by Lab Manager.
