Financial Analyst at CSC is a partner to the business, responsible for reporting, analyzing, and planning revenue, operational, and capital expenses for their business unit.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years' experience preparing/analyzing budgets & forecasts
- Business experience in financial analysis/financial planning working for a medium or large company
- Capital investment planning, analysis, and management
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience in database query functionality in Microsoft Access, Business Objects, or other reporting tools
- Experience working in Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase or similar financial systems
- Thorough understanding of financial metrics and accounting principles as well as knowledge of US GAAP Accounting standards
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred) and data visualization tools
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company, with a strong focus on senior management
- Self-motivated with ability to operate independently within a team structure
- Strong organizational and process improvement skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shift priorities, and meet deadlines
