Job Description
This Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic role focuses on providing technical support to customers regarding generator and component repair at their site. The role involves diagnosing complex repairs, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring adherence to Cummins’ Health, Safety & Environmental policies. A sign-on bonus and competitive pay are offered.
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
- Proficient Diesel Engine experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems
- Understanding switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
