Job Description
This Field Service Power Generation Technician position focuses on diagnosing and executing complex repairs to generators and components at customer sites. The role involves engaging with customers, performing maintenance/repairs, and maintaining detailed records. Opportunities for ongoing development are provided.
Requirements
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance
- Proficient Diesel Engine experience
- Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems
- Understanding switchgear schematics
- Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics
