Job Description
The Biomedical Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of medical equipment in the hospital. This role involves performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, managing inventory, and coordinating with other departments. The technician also assists with repair work and research into spare parts.
Requirements
- Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
- Manage all assigned equipment and schedules service.
- Respond to complaints and initiate repair orders.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and invoices.
- Conduct random inspections and make recommendations.
- Participate in Quality Improvement programs.
