Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team supporting a leading financial institution based in Richmond, VA. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals on cutting-edge cloud projects that strengthen and protect national financial and payment systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS and other container-based platforms
- Proficiency in Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
- Strong background in Ansible Automation, Packer, and GitLab (or similar CI/CD, source control, and deployment technologies)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application system issues
- Experience in Agile environments and implementing DevOps best practices
- Strong understanding of change management, system monitoring, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and project updates
