Mechanical Engineering Manager

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers at their Peerless Instrument facility in East Farmingdale, NY. The role involves providing technical leadership, overseeing department performance, and managing projects to meet technical, schedule, and budgetary constraints.

Requirements

• Extensive competence in 3D solid modelling and 2D drawing generation
• Knowledge of shock and vibration resistance and thermal management of electronics in extreme environments
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet technical, schedule, and budgetary constraints
• Familiarity with structural FEA and thermal CFD analysis
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to work well with assemblers and other manufacturing personnel
