Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Defense - Onsite Position

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the Quality Engineering team at our Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions site in Santa Clarita, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in FAA 145 repair station and Part 21 production, as well as electronics manufacturing, electrical design, and experience with IPC 610 Class 3 requirements in aerospace and defense.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical/Software Engineering or technical equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of prior related experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• Experience with the implementation and maintenance of a registered AS9100 QMS applied to both manufacturing and product development
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21 and 145 is a plus
• Approachable hands-on style with the ability to engage with people at all levels of management
• Excellent English Language written and oral communication skills
• Superior analytical skills, capable of using current computer analysis tools
• Encourages high level collaboration of cross-functional teams
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation and application of the following standards: J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 Rev D Class 3, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721
