Sr. Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Bournemouth UK Team! The role involves implementing electronic design and development process, from initial concept through to the completion of sealed data packs.

Requirements

• Implement all aspects of the electronic design and development process
• Liaise with software engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing and sales
• Ensure product is fit for purpose, cost effective and reliable
• Design and develop new flight recorder, air data computer, ruggedised computer system or video products
• Maintain the existing product line
• Take responsibility for ensuring allocated qualification tests are completed successfully
• Write formal design documentation
• Attend and contribute to design reviews
• Support and guide junior colleagues in technical matters
• Undertake new technology evaluation and introduction in product designs
• Accept technical responsibility for allocated design tasks
• Assist Production Engineering in the introduction of equipment into manufacture
