CVS Health is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to design business solutions for key strategic initiatives, focusing on modern event-driven architectures with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies, contemporary system designs, and emerging AI and agentic technologies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of design and development experience in enterprise-level solutions
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud implementations, particularly in modern event-driven architectures
- Expertise in technical subject matter and domain knowledge, with a focus on cloud technologies and emerging AI and agentic technologies
- Strong understanding of cloud design and architecture for one or more public cloud providers, with a preference for AWS
- Strong technical skills in application, data, integration, and security architecture/design
- Proficient understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL, and gRPC) and microservices-based architecture
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design, including the ability to map domain scope to Bounded Contexts and Microservices
- Familiarity with technologies that bridge modern applications and legacy infrastructure, use streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
- Experience with enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile), including DevSecOps and DataOps
- Hands-on technologist with coding skills and proficiency in modern technology stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Kafka, etc.)
- Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies, as well as cloud database technologies
- Demonstrable hands-on experience is essential
- Ability to facilitate the adoption of cloud-native/cloud-first architectures
