We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our AT Claim Organization, you will be responsible for developing mainframe applications, participating in requirements gathering and design sessions, and working collaboratively with other teams to ensure solutions are designed to fully function in an integrated application suite.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with mainframe development and support, utilizing technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor, or similar source control application
- Systems analysis
- Software design principles and software architecture
- Agile delivery methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing business impact and urgency
- Ability to work in a team environment to deliver projects
- 5+ years of experience with large-scale offshore vendor support arrangements
- 5+ years of healthcare experience in areas such as Claim Adjudication, Claim Payment/Banking, Electronic Funds Transfer
