Job Description
The Certified Arborist performs and manages all arboricultural practices in a safe and professional manner, including tree climbing, rigging, pruning, take down, cabling, bracing, lightening protection, stump removal, aeration, fertilization, injection, and other related duties.
Requirements
- Must be a certified arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
- A high school diploma/G.E.D
- ISA Certified Tree Risk Assessment Qualification
- Registered Technicians License for the application of pesticides or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Proficient in all phases of arboriculture normally gained through five years’ experience in the tree care industry
- Ability to read instructions and write reports
- Able to work a flexible schedule, to include being on standby at the supervisor’s request on evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
