Job Description
Cyclize is a startup in the chemical industry focused on plastic waste recycling and CO2 conversion. They are seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and optimize automation solutions in chemical waste-to-gas plants, leveraging Siemens technologies and safety standards. The role involves risk analysis, programming, and maintaining safety documentation.
Requirements
- Completed Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent qualification with a focus on EMSR/safety.
- Solid knowledge of Functional Safety (SIL, PL) and experience with Siemens safety solutions.
- Practical experience with SPS programming (TIA Portal, PCSneo), Process leads (PCS 7, WinCC), and Safety control systems (F-CPU, SIMATIC Safety).
- Analytical skills for conducting risk analyses and error handling in complex systems.
- Teamwork-oriented approach, communication skills and willingness to occasionally travel.
- Very good German language skills and good English proficiency.
