Job Description
The Afterschool Program Director position is responsible for designing and implementing high-quality after-school and summer camp programming, supervising staff, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience with afterschool/extracurricular settings, supervision of staff, and administrative tasks. A bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with afterschool/extracurricular settings with elementary school-aged young people
- Experience with supervision of staff
- Availability to work in-person between the hours of 10am -6pm during the school year and 8am - 6pm (8 hours shifts) during the summer
- Demonstrated ability with administrative tasks
- Should be enthusiastic and dedicated to the program's educational and youth development goals
