Job Description
D.A. Davidson & Co. is a leading full-service investment bank that offers comprehensive financial advisory and capital markets expertise for public and private companies. The firm is accepting applicants for Associate Year 1 and 2 positions in the Technology Investment Banking Group.
Requirements
- Three years minimum of professional experience working in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, etc.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Capital IQ and PitchBook
- Advanced knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance and accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including business writing
- Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong work ethic and team oriented approach
- Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion
- High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives
- Ability to train and provide mentorship to analysts and interns
- Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses strongly preferred but not required
