America Reads Tutor- United 2 Learn-8

This is a part-time, flexible work-study program for undergraduate students at Dallas College. Students will provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring to students in reading, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension, and gain valuable experience in education, child development, and community service.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate student awarded Federal Work-Study funds through FAFSA.
• Must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by Dallas College.
• Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (half-time) during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
• No outstanding institutional balances or registration blocks.
• Must have reliable transportation to off-campus worksites (if applicable).
• Completion of required Dallas College professional development training.
