Senior IT Security Engineer

Dandy is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on IT Engineer, Security to be an instrumental technical implementer for our nascent cybersecurity program. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, IT Engineering, you will be responsible for the technical deployment and initial operationalization of our core security infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of practical experience in IT security engineering or operations, with a proven history of delivering security improvements.
• Deep technical skill with installation, management, and troubleshooting of IT applications and security related configuration.
• Strong background in supporting security within IT infrastructure, including network security fundamentals, security configurations for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and familiarity with foundational security controls in GCP and/or Azure.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new tools, follow detailed implementation plans, and execute incident response steps in a methodical manner.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical requirements and work seamlessly with the broader IT Engineering team to ensure security standards are met during system deployments.
