Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Danfoss in Freeport, IL is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to repair machine tools used in manufacturing and testing. Responsibilities include performing repairs, preventive maintenance, modifications, installations, and rearrangements of both building and production equipment and systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• One (1) year certificate from college or technical school
• Three (3) to six (6) months experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
