Job Description
Daniels Health is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to help drive healthcare safety by coordinating transportation schedules, supporting drivers, and ensuring timely and compliant movement of medical waste. This role involves logistics operations and ensures timely delivery of medical waste to clients. Daniels Health is a sustainable healthcare waste management leader.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience of Transportation Support and/or dispatch experience
- Box truck driving experience is preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Strong understanding of transportation/logistics practices and procedures
- Knowledge of best practices for customer needs assessments and quality standards
- Understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
