DevOps Engineer (f/m/i)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Research Enablement team. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, researcher, project, and product teams to build, integrate, and evolve our Kubernetes-based Application Tier. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions, as well as improving and automating platform workflows, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and secrets management.

Requirements

• Experience operating Kubernetes-based systems
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Strong understanding of cloud networking
• Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and at least one modern programming language
• Familiarity with Docker, containerized workloads, PostgreSQL, object storage, and monitoring/observability stacks
• Team player and motivated to explore and evaluate new technologies
• Strong communication skills in English (at least C1)
