DevOps Engineer (f/m/x)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Research Enablement team to build, integrate, and evolve our Kubernetes-based Application Tier. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions, and improving and automating platform workflows, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and secrets management. The ideal candidate has experience operating Kubernetes-based systems, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud networking, and strong communication skills in English.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in research-driven & experimental environments
• Experience operating Kubernetes-based systems - ideally in managed environments like AKS, EKS, or GKE.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform, plus familiarity with Helm, GitHub Actions, and GitHub runners
• Strong understanding of cloud networking (VNet/VPC design, private endpoints, DNS, ingress controllers, TLS, routing).
• Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and at least one modern programming language - with a willingness to learn Go
• Familiar with Docker, containerized workloads, PostgreSQL, object storage, and monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana or ELK)
