Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, Platform

We are looking for a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer to provide technical support for Databricks Platform related issues and assist customers in their Databricks journey. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues, providing best practices support, and delivering suggestions for improving performance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, Java, Scala, and Linux/Unix administration, with experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining Python/Java/Scala based applications
• Expert level knowledge in Python is desired
• Solid experience with SQL-based database is required
• Linux/Unix administration skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Experience with 'Distributed Big Data Computing' environment
• Technical degree or the equivalent experience
