Job Description
Databricks is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Sales Finance team in the FP&A organization. The role involves analyzing company performance, building financial models, and driving sustainable growth through insightful analysis and improved visibility. The analyst will act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Finance leadership, helping Databricks optimize investment and scale operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a comparable field
- 4+ years of corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking experience
- Experience building financial models independently
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Experience simplifying and scaling a fast-moving, high-growth business
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (managing large datasets and driver-based models)
- Prior experience using SQL
- Comfortable managing large datasets
