Job Description
As a Pre-sales Sr Solutions Engineer at Databricks, you will guide technical evaluations, act as a technical advisor to the sales team, and advocate for customer needs. You'll help customers achieve data-driven outcomes using the Databricks Data intelligence Platform, integrating it into their enterprise ecosystem, and address big data, analytics, and data science challenges. You'll report to the Field Engineering Manager.
Requirements
- Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role
- Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding
- Experience designing and implementing architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with Big Data technologies, preferably in Apache SparkTM, Hadoop, DWH, BI, AI/ML, or Data Science
- Fluent coding experience in Python and implementing Apache SparkTM is desirable
- Written and verbal level fluency in Japanese
