Job Description
Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Backend Software Engineer to lead the Enterprise Applications team. This role focuses on building resilient, in-house solutions for key internal workflows powered by AI. The engineer will be responsible for defining technical strategy, designing software systems, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring engineering excellence. It's a critical role for driving growth and innovation.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering leadership experience (for software systems owned by a team)
- Experience designing and building end-to-end, full-stack cloud-native applications
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Passion for data intelligence.
