Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Datacor is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to help architect and build our AWS cloud foundation. This is a technical leadership role where you'll design infrastructure-as-code solutions, create self-service platforms for development teams, and establish architectural patterns that enable us to scale.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform roles
• Deep AWS expertise with production environment design (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK)
• Terraform mastery including module design, state management, and multi-environment strategies
• Platform thinking: Experience building self-service infrastructure or internal tooling that enables teams
• Automation philosophy: Strong scripting/coding in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
• Systems thinking: You make decisions based on multiple constraints—infrastructure, security, compliance, and developer experience must balance
• Independent executor: You work autonomously, making sound technical judgments and seeking input when needed
• Product mindset: You treat infrastructure as a product with internal customers, caring about developer experience and platform usability
