Job Description
Datadog is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead APM SDK Capabilities, building the core infrastructure for tracing libraries and collaborating with product teams to deliver scalable, intuitive instrumentation. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth developer experience, cross-functional development, and shaping the observability strategy for a global customer base. This is a high-impact position with significant influence on how developers understand and instrument their applications.
Requirements
- Experience in two or more languages and building cross-runtime systems.
- Deep experience working on or with observability tooling.
- Experience in SDK or library development, observability tooling, or OSS software development.
- Ability to pivot from high-level product narratives to technical implementation details.
