German (Germany) Freelance Writer

We are seeking German (Germany) Freelance Writers to produce high-quality content for Machine Translation technology. Writers will be required to complete short stories of approximately 6,500 words in one of the following genres: Kids, Thriller/Mystery, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Self-help, Romance, Memoir/Autobiography/Biography.

Requirements

• Residence in Germany
• Idiomatic fluency in German (Germany)
• Excellent writing skills in German (Germany) (grammar, spelling)
• Working proficiency in English required, as all communication and task guidelines will be in English
• Graduate or undergraduate degree in literature, journalism, or creative writing and/or proven experience in journalism, writing, or content creation
• Ability to start and complete tasks within the given deadline
• Strong attention to detail
• Submission of a portfolio with 3 writing samples (400–700 words each), including at least one in the preferred genre

• Rate: $578 USD per accepted short story (around 6,500 words) - covering all stages, including revisions after QA and client feedback if needed.
