Job Description
We are looking for linguists with idiomatic fluency in German to join our team of Freelance Linguists. The ideal candidate has a linguistic education/background, great attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and enthusiasm for improving AI technology.
Requirements
- Idiomatic fluency in German (Germany)
- Pass a qualification test (estimated duration is 25 minutes)
- Be located in Germany
- Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in German
- Advanced English language skills (written and verbal)
- Degree in linguistics or related field (phonetics, phonology, speech pathology, etc.)
- Phonetics/phonology expertise is preferred
- Relevant experience in data analysis, labelling, speech/text-to-speech technology, and/or audio annotation is considered a plus
- Familiarity with online annotation tools is preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver error-free work
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Interest in language technologies
