Operations Supervisor

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the efficient movement of customer freight through an error-free service center. This role involves measuring performance, reviewing reports, and assisting with various operational tasks like payroll and training. The position requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry and adherence to company safety standards.

Requirements

• Compile production and service records and measure conformance to standards
• Inspect and measure performance of personnel and initiate required process changes
• Review and provide support to shift personnel
• Assist with billing, rating, manifesting, and analysis of freight
• Maintain communication with customers and internal stakeholders
• Assist with recruiting, development, and evaluation of personnel
• Protect and maintain Service Center premises
• Investigate accidents and initiate corrective actions
