Job Description
Trailer Mechanics at Dayton Freight Lines are responsible for performing maintenance service on various 48ft. and 53ft. dry van trailers. This role involves diagnosing and repairing components like suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and more. The position requires a strong understanding of trailer repair, welding skills, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Pass a drug screen
- Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Proficient in recording work and labor on a computer
- Knowledge of EPA and DOT regulations
- Competence in OSHA standards
