Elementary School Tutor (2025-26)

Elementary Tutors provide supplemental practice through tutoring children in kindergarten through fourth grades to develop early literacy skills.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Educational Aide permit or teaching license
• Interest in education, specifically helping young children develop early literacy skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with children and adults
• An affinity for supporting students as individual learners
• Sound student and classroom management skills
• Ability to improvise and problem solve
• Experience with technology-integration in the teaching and learning process
