Job Description
The Infectious Disease NP will provide direct patient care in both hospital and outpatient settings, acting as a member of a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include initial patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment plan development, and collaboration with other health care professionals. The role requires adherence to DCH standards and maintaining high performance standards.
Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in Nursing and graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Current AL Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure in good standing with Alabama Board of Nursing
- Prior experience working as a CRNP in acute care setting or Infectious Disease experience recommended
- DEA/QACSC/LPSP licensure
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
