Performs laboratory tests, collects blood and urine specimens, and maintains laboratory equipment. Requires certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Med Tech within 18 months.
Requirements
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Med Tech (MT or CLS)
- Ability to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English
- BLS certification within 90 days of employment and maintain thereafter
- Ability to work with disease causing agents
- Ability to actively participate in conflict resolutions
- Ability to communicate on multiple platforms
- Ability to flex their schedule to meet the varying needs of patient care
