Atlantis Submarines-Diesel Technician

The Atlantis Submarines-Diesel Technician performs repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems of submersibles, surface vessels, and support equipment, with a focus on electrical, hydraulic, and diesel maintenance and repair. The role requires a minimum of MTS/E.P.I. technical or equivalent, as well as experience in welding and basic computer skills.

Requirements

• Minimum MTS/E.P.I. technical or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in electrical, hydraulic, and diesel maintenance and repair
• Welding skills a plus
• Ability to work in cramped, enclosed spaces
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and structural drawings
• Familiarity with basic wiring and circuitry techniques
• Basic computer skills
• Strong trouble shooting skills
• Ability to swim
• Driver's license
• Ability to work night shift
