Job Description
At Dearing Compressor & Pump, we treat every team member like family with a strong, collaborative culture and a people-first approach. We're looking for a Threaded Pipe Fitter to lay out, assemble, and install threaded pipe systems and pipe supports on compressor packages.
Requirements
- Selects type and size of pipe, and related materials according to specifications
- Plans installation to avoid obstructions and interference with other workers
- Cuts and threads pipe
- Assembles and installs metal pipes, tubes, and fittings
- Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers
- Performs air tests in pipe systems
- Welds pipe supports to structural steel members
- Tracks and records heat numbers from pipe and fittings
- Cross-trains in other functions of assembly team
