Job Description
Performance Test Engineer position at a company in Sunnyvale, CA, with a 6+ month contract duration. The engineer will collect non-functional requirements, develop test scripts, execute test runs, and analyze results to improve application performance.
Requirements
- Non-functional requirements collection from different stakeholders
- Build workload model using production logs and Splunk
- Test script development using Apache Jmeter, HP Load runner, or App perfect
- Design scenarios for peak load, endurance, stress, and scalability tests
- Execute different types of test runs
- Client and server-side report creation and correlation
- Server-side metrics monitoring using Hubble, Foglight, and HP Performance manager
- Troubleshooting with dev and capacity teams
- Effective test results analysis for performance tuning
